Scout Night Rescheduled To 5.18.07

By Brian Liskai: (Attica, OH) Attica Raceway Park has rescheduled its Scouts Night for Friday, May 18, as part of Fisher Performance Night.

Troops – boys and girls – are invited to “Ohio’s Finest Racing” venue for a night of fun and entertainment. Scouts and troop leaders need to show up with their uniforms on and they will get in free!

The World Auto Parts of Huron & Cleveland 410 Sprints, the 305 sprints, the Fultz Fabrication & Speedshop Attica Late Models and the dirt trucks will be in action. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing to begin at 8:00 p.m.

If time permits there will be an autograph session around 7:30 p.m. with some of the drivers bringing their race cars in front of the grandstands for Scouts to see close up. There will also be other fun events such as autographed frisbees, t-shirts, and some other items tossed into the crowd throughout the night.

The Scouts should bring a little extra money if they wish to purchase souvenirs. There is also great food available at ARP’s concessions area at reasonable prices – anything from pizza to hamburgers to walking tacos.

“It’s a great way to say thanks to the Scouts for all of the community service they provide and to the troop leaders for the community values and leadership they instill in young people,” said Rex LeJeune, ARP’s Operations Manager.
