By Brian Liskai: (Attica, OH) Christmas will be here before you know it. So, Santa Claus needs all the relaxation and fun he can get now. That’s why he is heading to Attica Raceway Park on Friday, July 10 to help celebrate Christmas in July presented by Smith Family Frosted Foods.
The night of fun at “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant will feature the great racing with the winged 410 sprints, Fremont Fence 305 Sprints and the Fultz Fabrications and Speed Shop UMP Late Models. Around 80 cars are expected to battle around the one-third mile dirt track, competing in 15 racing events.
Besides the perfect gift for fans of entertaining racing, Santa will have many gifts with him for kids of all ages. The jolly ol’ fella will also be passing out candy canes along with gifts throughout the evening. Also, one lucky boy or girl age 10 and under will win a free bike.
Everyone is invited to enjoy Christmas in July at Attica. Adult general admission is only $14, senior citizens $12, kids 11-15 yeas old $10, and kids 10 and under are FREE. Gates open at 5 p.m., with racing at 7:45 p.m. Attica Raceway Park is located in the Attica Fairgrounds just off of US 224 and St. Rt. 4.
