Saturated grounds force Spring Nationals postponement; Rescheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 14-15

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (April 6, 2023) – With heavy, overnight rain saturating an already extremely damp facility, mixed with colder evening temperatures plaguing the upcoming weekend forecast, Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 and Attica Raceway Park officials have decided to postpone the Core & Main Spring Nationals until next weekend, Friday and Saturday, April 14-15. The two-day program, officially opening the 2023 All Star Circuit of Champions points season, will award $6,000-to-win each.

All Star Enterprises, LLC, wholly owned by Tony Stewart, d/b/a the All Star Circuit of Champions, is a winged sprint car series. The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series is one of the oldest traveling 410 sprint car organizations and is a staple of grassroots, open-wheel racing. ATTICA, Ohio – A forecast of strong winds and rain all day for Friday, March 31 has prompted Attica Raceway Park officials to cancel racing. There is no rain date.

The Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will kick off their 2023 point season at Attica Raceway Park for the traditional Core & Main Spring Nationals presented by Construction Equipment & Supply and Advanced Drainage Systems scheduled for Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8. The Dirt Nerds Podcast/Propane.com UMP Late Models will join the All Stars on Friday and the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints will compete on Saturday.

Gates Friday, April 7 will open at 3 p.m. with racing under way at 7:45 p.m. Gates will open at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8 with racing under way at 7 p.m.

If both Friday and Saturday events are cancelled they will be made up on April 14 and 15.

3/22/23 Cold, wet weather postpones Attica Raceway Park 2023 opener again

ATTICA, Ohio – For the second week in a row, late week rain and cold temperatures has postponed the 2023 season opener for Attica Raceway Park. Both the Friday, March 24 and the Saturday, March 25 rain date have been cancelled.

Attica Raceway Park will try again Friday, March 31 for Construction Equipment and Supply, Underground Utilities Inc., Advanced Drainage Systems Night featuring the Callie’s Performance Products 410 Sprints, Dirt Nerds Podcast/Propane.com UMP Late Models and the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints. There is no rain date.

3/13/23 Wet, cold weather forces Attica Raceway Park to cancel 2023 opener

ATTICA, Ohio – Recent weeks of heavy rains mixed with snow and little opportunity for drying with a forecast of more wet weather has forced Attica Raceway Park officials to cancel the season-opener planned for Friday, March 17. The Saturday, March 18 rain date is also cancelled.

“Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant will try again Friday, March 24 (rain date of Saturday, March 25). Racing on Underground Utilities/Construction Equipment and Supply Night will be the Callie’s Performance Products 410 Sprints; Propane.com/Dirt Nerds Podcast UMP Late Models and the Fremont Fence 305 Sprints.
