Favorite 410 Sprint Car Moment Of 2010 Announced

Mark Keegan’s June 11th Feature Win Voted Favorite 410 Sprint Car Moment of 2010 By The Fans

(Attica, OH) The fans of Attica Raceway Park have spoken and voted Mark Keegan’s feature win on June 11th as their favorite 410 sprint car moment of the 2010 race season with 30% of the votes.

This popular win was Keegan’s 56th trip to victory lane at “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speed plant and came the same week as the veteran’s 52nd birthday. The all-time winningest driver at Attica used his experience in setting up Chris Andrews for the winning pass on lap 22 of the 30 lap affair. Mark used this win and his consistency over the course of 2010 to finish second in the points at Attica and also as the runner-up in the Kistler Racing Products FAST Championship Series.

Over the off-season atticaracewaypark.com will be conducting several polls to help determine what was the greatest moment of the 2010 season at Attica Raceway Park.

Each poll will feature five events that stuck out in the minds of the Attica Raceway Park staff from the past season for one particular division. The fine fans of “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speed plant will then have a month to vote (you can only vote once per day) and help determine what was the most exciting event for that division. Once each division has a winner we will post them all together and let the fans ultimately decide what was the greatest moment of 2010 at Attica Raceway Park.

2010 Off-Season Improvements Start At Attica Raceway Park

UPDATE (10/15): The track staff & volunteers have taken advantage of the favorable weather conditions of late and have given “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant a face lift of sorts thanks to several painting projects around the venue. Fencing, bleacher railings and even the cement barriers along the back stretch have been given a fresh coat of paint.
It has already been nearly a month since the last checkered flag dropped to conclude the racing season at Attica Raceway Park, but the staff has been busy making improvements around the track in preperation for the 2011 season.

During the month of September, new stone has been added to the pit area in between turns 3 & 4 and the horse track. Also new wall and siding has been added to the main concession building and crews have added a new window for serving pizza quicker to the fans. Stay tuned for more updates.
