By Brian Liskai: (Attica, OH) A late afternoon shower brought an end to the racing plans at Attica Raceway Park for Friday, April 11, on True Value of Woodville Night featuring the Sunoco American Late Model Series, the 305 sprints and dirt trucks. With a forecast of rain and snow showers throughout the day Saturday, that planned raindate has also been cancelled.
“We got a good shower about 3:30 p.m. and decided to cancel before the fans and teams got underway to get here,” said Attica Operations Director Rex LeJeune.
“Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant will be in action again Friday, April 18, on R&R Auto Wrecking/HD Supply Night with a full slate of exciting action featuring the winged 410 sprints, 305 sprints, Service Drive Solution UMP Attica Late Models and dirt trucks.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. with the mud-slinging action slated to get underway at 8 p.m. Tickets for the barn-burning fun of four classes of racing are $14 for adults; $12 for senior citizens; teens 11-15, $10; and children 10 and under are free.
