Highest Paying Late Model Race in Track History Set For the Stephen Wagner Memorial

ATTICA, Ohio – Though the racing season is winding down at Attica Raceway Park, the action continues to heat up with plenty of exciting events still on the schedule including the biggest super late model event in the history of “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speed plant.

The traditional Attica Ambush, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 4 on Great Lakes Truck Center, All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads, Murphy Tractor, RPM Performance Night will feature the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline Oil vying for $7,000 to win along with the American Late Model Iron-Man Series for the Stephen Wagner Memorial paying $15,049 to the winner ($549 to start the A-main).

“Thanks to Noah Wagner and his hard work to honor the memory of his dad, this will be the highest paying late model race in Attica Raceway Park history. The total purse for the late model A-main is nearly $56,000,” said Justin Liskai, Director of Operations at ARP.

“There’s still time to make this event even bigger. If any business wants to be a part of this great event, just get a hold of me,” Liskai added.

Liskai said some national touring series drivers have indicated an interest in competing at Attica for the Stephen Wagner Memorial.

There will be free camping at Attica on Sept. 4 as well.
