Public Relations: (Maumee, OH) The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title presented by KS Sales & Service will help celebrate the silver season at Attica Raceway Park in grand fashion with the running of the Eric Philips 25th Anniversary Classic on Friday, May 17th. Highlighting the night are twin features for the F.A.S.T. Series highlight the night with each consisting of 25-laps and both paying out $2,500 to win and $250 to start.
Only the first feature event for the 410 sprint cars will count towards the $10,000 season-ending championship for the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title. Cash and prestige will be on the line when the cars are pushed off for the second feature of the night. Details about the race format and more bonus cash will soon be released by Attica Raceway Park.
Bonus cash will be on the line for the 410 sprint car members of the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title thanks to money put up by the F.A.S.T. organization, as well as a generous donation by presenting sponsor KS Sales & Service. A $250 bonus will be up for grabs for whichever F.A.S.T. member posts the highest average finish during the pair of feature events. Also a $100 bonus will be available to the F.A.S.T. member with the second highest finishing average. Any ties will be broken by the driver sitting the highest in F.A.S.T. points after the first feature event on May 17th.
Also in competition will be the UMP DIRTcar Late Models and the 305 Sprint Cars racing without their front nose wings as a tribute to the “Econo Sprint” division that Eric Philips started. Thanks to Hoserville Ohio the 305 Sprint feature will pay $600 to win.
