By Brian Liskai: (Attica, OH) Thunderstorms and a forecast for more of the same prompted Attica Raceway Park officials to pull the plug on racing for Ohio Cat Night, Friday, May 2.
“Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant will be back in action Friday, May 9, for American Power Sports of Findlay Night featuring the 410 sprints, 305 sprints, Service Drive Solutions UMP Attica Late Models and the dirt trucks. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing heating up at 8 p.m.
Coming Friday, May 16, the first ever appearance of the World of Outlaw Late Models. See stars Billy Moyer, Josh “Kid Rocket” Richards, Steve Francis, Shannon Babb, Rick Eckert, Chub Frank and many more battle for 50 laps paying $10,000 to win. Also, see the Attica 410 sprints in action. Racing begins at 8 p.m.
And coming Friday, May 30, the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaw Sprints visit Attica with the running of the Kistler Engines Classic paying $10,000 to win.
