By Brian Liskai: (Attica, OH) The 2008 racing season is just around the corner at “Ohio’s Finest Racing” venue, Attica Raceway Park. The exciting schedule will have race fans on the edge of their seats, including visits by the best dirt track drivers in the world during “The Month of MAYhem.”
Donny Schatz will be looking to defend his Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprints championship aboard his new Tony Stewart owned mount. But he will have his hands full with the likes of Joey Saldana, “The King” Steve Kinser, Daryn Pittman, Craig Dollansky, Jason Meyers, Chad Kemenah and the tough Attica regulars like Mark Keegan, Byron Reed, Mike Linder and Lee Jacobs.
Who could forget the exciting action last year when Joey Saldana – aboard the Kasey Kahne-owned Open Joist machine – threaded the needle between Steve Kinser and Craig Dollansky exiting turn 4 to grab the lead and go on to the victory.
The Outlaws will be in action on Attica’s high banks on Friday, May 30. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will also visit Attica on Friday, May 16.
