Santa To Hand Out Gifts On July 25

By Brian Liskai: (Attica, OH) Santa Claus knows all about reindeer power. He’s hoping to get some tips on horsepower when he visits Attica Raceway Park Friday, July 25. The “Jolly Ol’ Elf’ from the North Pole is heading south to “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant to celebrate Christmas in July presented by Smith Family Frosted Foods.

The night of fun at Attica will feature the exciting great racing of the 410 winged sprints, 305 winged springs, Service Drive Solutions UMP Attica Late Models and the dirt trucks. Over 90 race vehicles are expected to compete on the one-third mile dirt track in over 15 breath-taking events.

Just because he’s on vacation doesn’t mean Santa won’t bring along a bag of goodies for kids of all ages. Kris Kringle will be passing out candy canes along with special prizes throughout the evening. Fans will have the chance to win tickets to Toledo Mud Hens baseball games and an Akron Aeros baseball contest to see special guest Kurt Bush on Wednesday, Aug. 13. One lucky boy or girl (ages 10 and under) will win a bike!

Everyone is invited to enjoy Christmas in July at Attica Raceway Park…and to dress the part! Adult general admission is only $14; seniors get in for $12; teens 11-15 for $10; and kids 10 and under are free.

Gates open at 5 p.m. and racing action heats up at 8 p.m. Attica Raceway Park is located in the Attica Fairgrounds just northeast of U.S. 224 and St. Rt. 4. For more information log onto atticaracewaypark.com or call 419-680-5606.
