Attica, Ohio July 3 – Outside the weather is delightful, so Santa Claus is leaving the North Pole early and heading south to Attica Raceway Park. Santa will be arriving at “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant this Friday, July 7th to celebrate Christmas In July presented by Smith Family Frosted Foods.
The night of fun at Attica will feature some great racing with the 410 winged sprints, 305 winged sprints, limited late models, and the dirt trucks. Over 90 vehicles are expected to race on the 1/3 mile dirt track, competing in over 15 racing events on the race night schedule.
Santa will have many gifts with him for kids of all ages. The jolly ole fella will be passing out gifts throughout the evening. At least one lucky fan will win a ride in the Attica Raceway Park Baumann Auto Group pace truck. One lucky boy or girl age 10 and under will receive a free bike sponsored by the Ludwig Motorsports #10 sprint car driven by David Harrison.
Everyone is invited to enjoy Christmas In July at Attica this Friday. Adult general admission is only $14, Senior Citizens $12, 11-15 yr. olds $10, and kids 10 and under are free. Gates open at 5:00, warm ups at 6:30, and racing at 8:00. Attica Raceway Park is in the Attica Fairgrounds just of Rt. 224 and Rt. 4.
