FAST Series Resumes at Attica and Fremont For July 4th Celebration

By Bryan Autullo (FAST Series PR): (Maumee, OH) As the Nation’s Independence Day approaches this weekend, the Kistler Racing Products FAST Championship Series prepares to resume points racing action. Byron Reed holds a slim 9 point lead over Craig Mintz and is just 21 points ahead of Brandon Martin going into this weekend. Mark Keegan sits in 4th place and Bryan Sebetto rounds out the Top 5. This weekend marks the half-way point of the 22 scheduled FAST events this season and an intense battle is being waged on Ohio soil for the inaugural Kistler Cup trophy and $10,000 winner’s share of the FAST Championship point fund.

Along with the great racing at both Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway, several events will honor the heroes of our Military’s past and present. The weekend will be filled with additional entertainment for fans of all ages at both tracks throughout the weekend. The flags will be flying for our racers, and if you are a business on this patriotic weekend, why not check out a commercial flagpole for sale so you can fly the red, white, and blue for everyone!

On Friday July 3rd, Attica Raceway Park presents Kears Speed Shop Fan Appreciation Night. The ticket price is reduced to just $10 General Admission to see 410 Sprints, 305 sprints, Late Models, and Dirt Trucks. All four divisions for one low price. In addition, there will be $1 hot dogs and .50 cent popcorn to make this a great night to bring the whole family. The pits will be open for fans before the races to get pictures and autographs with Free Attica 2009 souvenir programs. The American Legion will be presenting colors for the National Anthem and Sue Sebetto will be signing “America The Beautiful” and our “National Anthem”. More events are being planned for the weekend and details are being ironed out. Please make plans to attend these events on Friday July 3rd and Saturday July 4th to honor the men and women of our Military and those who have given their lives for our Freedom.
