Attica and Wayne County Form Late Model Challenge

By Mike Swanger: (Orrville, OH) With both tracks having highly competitive fields of Super Late Models with many of the regions best drivers competing at both tracks in the past and now with NAPA Wayne County Speedway switching to Saturday night racing in 2014, Promoters John Bores of Attica Raceway Park along with Jason and Kristin Flory of NAPA Wayne County Speedway announce the formation of an eight race Super Late Model Challenge Series this season.

Each track will hold four races during the season with each race paying $1,500 to win and $200 to start the feature with $60 for all non transfer cars. The Late Model Challenge Series will have it’s own point fund as a title sponsor is still being sought and a $10 entry fee for each race will be charged and added to the point fund.

The first night for the Late Model Challenge Series will be on Friday, May 2nd at Attica Raceway Park with the series in action the next night, Saturday, May 3rd at NAPA Wayne County Speedway. Attica Raceway Park will host the next two night for the series on Friday, June 20th and again on Friday, July 11th as NAPA Wayne County Speedway will resume the series on Saturday, July 12th and then on Saturday, August 9th. The final weekend for the series will be double points at both tracks as Attica Raceway Park will run on Saturday, August 30th and the final race will be on Sunday, August 31st at Napa Wayne County Speedway.

A tire rule will be in effect for both tracks with American Racers 44 or harder and Hoosier 1300, LM 20 or harder that will be allowed as each track will run their regular rules and race procedures.
